Brown-Forman is an independent, publicly-traded producer and marketer of premium spirits, wines, and other adult beverages as well as premier luggage. The core mission of the client is to produce and market many of the most well-known and best-loved wines and spirits in the world as well as manufacture and market consumer products such as luggage and leather goods.

The Challenge

Worklogix was engaged to work with the HRIS team, who is responsible for the deployment and support of all Human Resources applications within the company.
The primary challenge was to transform the existing form-based performance management process into a collaborative online process on the SAP Enterprise Portal that allowed employees and managers to set, review, and approve objectives and conduct evaluations. In addition, the organizational hierarchy had to be optimized in order for workflow routing to function effectively. Additionally, the SAP system needed to be enhanced to allow workflow notifications via the corporate email system.

The Solution

Worklogix assisted in the requirement gathering, design, configuration and deployment of the SAP performance management application. The appraisal solution was comprised of components including objective setting, weighting, past accomplishments, part appraiser feedback as well as an overall performance metric from the final appraiser, which will be used for their performance-based compensation payout process.
