SAP Payroll

Leveraging its diverse product portfolio, AE solutions maximize process impact as well as improve productivity and return on investment for its customers. This portfolio includes solutions in power and flow management, thermal instrumentation and plasma and ion beam sources for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and end users.
The Project
AEI needed to have payroll processed by a third party payroll provider. The provider needs accurate and timely employee information in order to calculate net pay and appropriately pay AEI employees.
Additionally specific actions in SAP resulted in the change or removal of system access for the employee. To comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, a solution was needed to notify administrators that an action has taken place.
The Solution
Worklogix was engaged to build the several interfaces from SAP HR to a third party payroll provider. All employee master data, gross pay, benefits, and other deductions/payments were sourced from SAP and transmitted to third party payroll provide in order to process payroll.
Worklogix was also engaged to design and develop a workflow solution needed to satisfy Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. When an employee is terminated, a workflow event is triggered to notify security administrators that access to systems needs to be removed. SAP access is automatically removed with the account being disabled.
